Pool & Spa in Chapel Hill, NC

Blue Haven Raleigh brought out all the accoutrements with this project for the Prices. The client wanted a backyard pool and spa in Chapel Hill, NC and had big ideas about creating a functional but fun space for entertaining. This project was going to be really customized to the client, so we made sure to be clear about the needs and goals of the space before getting to work on this fun design. We began by designing and building a custom freeform pool. Freeform pools are known for their flowing curves that mimic nature, and we added multiple levels to this pool added dimension. The spa off to the side gave us an opportunity for a rolling waterfall into the pool. Not only did the Prices want a pool and spa–they wanted a full entertainment space. To complete the backyard, we installed a natural flagstone fire-pit area off the lowest level, as well as a custom outdoor kitchen with a large stone countertop on the upper level. We were really impressed with the results and finished out the project by giving the Prices a remote control and diagnostics system that allows them to control their outdoor living space’s systems easily on their mobile devices, just one aspect of the pool technology Blue Haven Raleigh provides its clients. We can’t wait to see how this space evolves for the Prices over the years, and we hope we get invited back to this backyard oasis!
